Quilts under construction...

Well, I am taking FOREVER to finish this quilt (pictured above)... I think I underestimated how much time it is taking to embroider circles on the football shapes. About half are done and I haven't even picked it up in a couple months - anyone else have projects like that? Guess it will be a good fall/winter project since it gets quite warm sitting under it while I'm working on it. If you are wondering about the pattern- it is Amy Butler's Charm Quilt pattern and a free download from her website.

The quilt pictured below I just started on last week after seeing some inspiring pictures on the oh fransson blog - I do LOVE her work! I've just made up my own size blocks and starting using some scraps (and some new purchases) to make this quilt. So far I am loving it! The cheerful colors and reminds me of summertime- oh I wish it could be summer all year round!
I bought fat quarters of all of the Ginger Blossom and Farmer's Market by Sandi Henderson as well as "stole" some pieces of the new Pop Garden and Bijoux by Heather Bailey that my mom had ordered... a few others mixed in the bunch makes for such a lively quilt I think.
This is the third quilt that I have underway (ok, don't remind my husband of all my unfinished quilts :) ). This is a baby quilt that I think I am going to sell on our Etsy site. Just waiting for the backing and binding material to come in that I ordered last week. I used exclusively Ginger Blossom fabric and white and once again was inspired by the oh fransson blog and used ric-rac in-between some of the fabrics - there is a tutorial on her blog and I followed and it worked out great! - Jennifer

They are all great but that second quilt is right up my alley. I LOVE it. Is there a pattern?

I'm not sure if there is a pattern out there or not... but I used 2 1/2" middle squares surrounded by 1 1/4" and 2" strips (these sizes are the sizes I cut, not the size sewn together.) thanks!
