Mod baby boy quilt

This is a quilt top for a baby boy that I just finished up this morning. I didn't follow a specific pattern, but drew the design out on graph paper first then went to work cutting out the pieces. The fabrics are Joel Dewberry and Amy Butler. I think the quilting on this one could really accentuate the design, so I'm thinking I'll do straight lines that follow around the shapes- what do you think? - Jennifer

Sort of reminds me of the Flea Market Fancy barbell print... such a great design! Are you willing to share the pattern?

Gorgeous. Just gorgeous. Made my jaw drop when it came up! And yes, I agree with your quilting plan.

Love it! Such a simple design, but very moderns and graphic. I think the quilting you have planned would look cool, but a free motion stipple would look good as well. Sometimes when I have a quilt that is very linear with clean lines I like the look of stippling on it as a contrast to the rigidity of all the straight lines. Can't wait to see the finished product. Great work1

Thanks everyone for your nice comments! It is fun to see that you like too! I'll put together a post in the next couple days with dimensions in case you would like to make one yourself. Thanks again!
