Cuckoo clock fabric sample from Spoonflower!

Cuckoo clock fabric sample
I just received my first fabric sample from Spoonflower today and I am so excited!  The sample turned out beautiful and I am so excited to order more fabric- it has been a dream of mine to put our cuckoo clock design onto fabric, so I collaborated with our blog designer Mandy who has incredible skills!  She worked the design in aqua, red and pink so I could incorporate it into a new quilt that I am making for my daughter.  It should fit in perfectly!  Have you tried designing fabric or ordering some of the fabrics from Spoonflower?  I've been checking out the designs for sale and there are some fantastic ones!  - Jennifer

Love your clocks. Yes, I've bought some spoonflower fabric. I'd had it in my spoonflower cart for 6 months, and then decided to go ahead and buy. Blogged here - such fabulous fabrics. http://linseed-helicopter.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html

That is amazing!!! I love it.

There is a really long thread on the Designer Fabric Swappy-Poo group on Flickr about the quality of Spoonflower fabrics. Someone did some extensive testing on the new Heather Ross fabrics to see if they'd fade, and there were some big problems with some of them.

That is really neat. I've heard of Spoonflower, but never tried it. I love how yours turned out. The colors are beautiful.

Love it and love cuckoo clocks!

Love your cuckoo clock fabric - you design is lovely. Try not to use it in something that requires washing - the dye / paint is not stable. Colors changes and disappear all together. Love the idea of Spoonflower, but it needs refinement.

Jennifer, it's beautiful. How did you get the clock to run in both directions? I think if you uploaded just one clock, there isn't any way to do that from their choices....?
