I've been making some sets of potholders and kitchen towels for Christmas gifts and dug into my scrap mountain to make some new potholders for myself. :) My old ones were in desperate need of being replaced as I think most of them were about 10 years old!
These all have a patchwork layer on top, then a layer of InsulBrite, a layer of batting and a backing fabric. I've used them a few times already and they seem to work great getting things in and out of the oven and to set large pots on at the dinner table.

This project was a great way to use up scrap fabrics and leftover pieces of binding, so I thought I would spread the love by making some extras and doing a little giveaway.
So, thank you to all of you who visit here and bring a little joy to my day with your sweet comments and friendship!

Awesome potholders Jessica! How generous of you to give them away this time of the year (I have been hoarding all my handmades for gifts....ha)!!!! Your ornaments quilt is clever as well. Love how you used your grandmother's fabrics.
Wow, lovely potholders! Your wonky star is my favorite. I've been trying to resist buying Farmdale, but I just love it every time I see it!
Very cute. Great fabrics.
oooo! They are all so cute. It's crazy how just a snippit of fabulous fabric is all it takes. So many great ones in those potholders. Especially love that orange and white binding fabric you used in set 2.
Love your blog. Keep it coming. Very inspiring. : )

Oh, what a fun giveaway! And I desperately need some -- if you look at my Thanksgiving blog post, you'll see the ugly green burned potholder from about 8 years ago on my right hand, and an ove-glove on my left. Ha!
