Congrats to Tamie! I'll be contacting you shortly. Thanks everyone for all your kind comments and entries!~Jessica
It seems like such a long time ago that Jennifer and I were asked by Chrissie to join her in creating a book focused on sewing projects for swapping! I was so happy to be a part of this adventure and it's even better to see it all come together and see the end results of all our work.
I'm lucky enough to have one of my own projects in the book! I designed the Argyle Zig pillow. It's a paper pieced project and I really enjoyed the process of trying to think up something new and original. Please let me know if you make one of these, I'd love to see it!
There are many pretty quilt patterns in the book and Chrissie does a great job of breaking them down into steps for making them and giving lots of details and hints about swapping.
I also helped to quilt and bind the vintage sheet double hourglass quilt in The Vintage Meets Modern Swap. It's such a pretty quilt and I will definitely be making one of my own someday.
Here's all of the projects and blocks that I contributed to in the book! See that block up there in the top left hand corner? Yeah, the circle swirly one... I was so excited to figure that one out and have it look great! I love a good challenge and that one sure kept me occupied for many hours. :)
