I finished up my version of the Granny Square quilt this past weekend!
It's bright, spring like and has been a fun and simple quilt to work on during these last few weeks of cold weather (hopefully!). It has to get warmer soon!
The fabrics are all some of my favorites. Most of the them were cut from 5" squares that were left over from other projects and some were pulled from the scrap bins. I love the combination of these colors with the white!
I didn't use a specific pattern for this quilt. I just made up a simple block and placed it on point so that it looked like a granny square quilt block. The squares finish at 2".
The backing of this quilt is all pieced from a variety of blue and green printed fabrics. It's been a stash buster of sorts and a good way to use up some of those prints that have been in my stash for a long time. They're too pretty to be sitting on my shelf and need to get out and enjoyed!
I've decided to put this one up for sale in my etsy shop, if you're interested!
